The Salem Witch Society began back in the 1300's in England. The society kept to the shadows until the late 1600s when the mass hysterical panic, caused hundreds of thousands of witches to be brutally killed along with mundane men and women who did nothing wrong.
Today, though witchcraft is widely accepted, the majority of the covens still meet in secret and still hide from society as much as possible to not bring too much attention to them. Witches and Warlocks work together to protect their kind.
